YUKIO HAYASHI – PRINCIPAL
Born and raised in Yokohama, Japan until the age of 17, Yukio is a law graduate from the University of New South Wales. In 1979, he became the first Japanese Lawyer admitted to practice in Australia. He started practicing law at Baker & McKenzie and subsequently moved to Freehill Hollingdale & Page (now Freehills) working in the commercial team. In 1984, he became a partner at Freehill Hollingdale & Page providing advice in commercial and corporate area of laws for many Japanese companies. In 1996, he established his own firm, Yukio Hayashi & Associates. He is also a registered migration agent.
KENNETH (KYUNG IL) HONG – SOLICITOR
Originally from Seoul, Ken came to Australia in 1994. He obtained his law degree from Bond University on a scholarship. Prior to joining our firm in 2005, Ken previously worked for a number of law firms in Sydney predominately working in commercial, corporate, civil litigation and property. He is currently studying his postgraduate degree in law at the University of Sydney. Ken is a registered migration agent and the Treasurer of the Korean Australian Lawyers’ Association.
REIKO REYNOLDS – SOLICITOR
Reiko obtained her law degree from the University of New England in 2004. She has previously worked for a boutique building and construction law firm and in the real estate industry in leasing and property management. She joined our firm in 2005 and also is a registered migration agent.
 
MIHO ISHIKAWA – SOLICITOR
Miho was born and raised in Nagoya, Japan and has various work experiences with major companies in Tokyo. In February 2005, she came to Australia determined to study Australian laws, and subsequently obtained her law degree from the University of New South Wales in 2008 and became a lawyer. She also has a postgraduate degree in law from the Chuo University, and wrote a thesis on protection of personal information. She has a keen interest in corporate governance, employment law, competition law, family law and dispute resolution.
